You have to answer them instantly. You can't take your time, answer all of them immediately. OK?

Let's find out just how clever you really are.

Ready? GO!!! (scroll down)

First Question:You are participating in a race. You overtake the second person. What position are you in?

Answer: If you answered that you are first, then you are absolutely wrong! If you overtake the second person and you take his place, you are second!

Try not to screw up in the next question.To answer the second question, don't take as much time as you took for the first question.

Second Question:If you overtake the last person, then you are...?

Answer: If you answered that you are second to last, then you are wrong again. Note: This must be done in your head only.Do NOT use paper and pencil or a calculator. Try it.

Take 1000 and add 40 to it. Now add another 1000. Now add 30. Add another 1000. Now add 20. By imitating the action of brushing one's teeth he successfully expresses himself to the shopkeeper and the purchase is done.
Now if there is a blind man who wishes to buy a pair of sunglasses, how should he express himself? plz dont see before answer

He just has to open his mouth and ask, so simple.
Njoyed or not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ?

This is sumthing really interesting.. go thru it
Not only our technical knowledge helps, but also the presence of mind and the right answer
at right time. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity.

I was about half in love with her by the time we sat down. That's the thing about girls. Fair enough, but if you
go to Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel, by default none of Windows XP's 'built in' programs
are visible. it's fairly easy to change, though... just open the file X:\Windows\inf\sysoc.inf
(where X: is the drive letter where Windows XP is installed) in Notepad. You should see a section of
the file something like this:

[Components]

NtComponents=ntoc.dll,NtOcSetupProc,,4
WBEM=ocgen.dll,OcEntry,wbemoc.inf,hide,7
Display=desk.cpl,DisplayOcSetupProc,,7
Fax=fxsocm.dll,FaxOcmSetupProc,fxsocm.inf,,7
NetOC=netoc.dll,NetOcSetupProc,netoc.inf,,7
iis=iis.dll,OcEntry,iis.inf,,7
com=comsetup.dll,OcEntry,comnt5.inf,hide,7
dtc=msdtcstp.dll,OcEntry,dtcnt5.inf,hide,7
IndexSrv_System = setupqry.dll,IndexSrv,setupqry.inf,,7
TerminalServer=TsOc.dll,HydraOc,,hide,2
msmq=msmqocm.dll,MsmqOcm,msmqocm.inf,,6
ims=imsinsnt.dll,OcEntry,ims.inf,,7
fp_extensions=fp40ext.dll,FrontPage4Extensions,fp40ext.inf,,7
AutoUpdate=ocgen.dll,OcEntry,au.inf,hide,7
msmsgs=msgrocm.dll,OcEntry,msmsgs.inf,hide,7
RootAutoUpdate=ocgen.dll,OcEntry,rootau.inf,,7
IEAccess=ocgen.dll,OcEntry,ieaccess.inf,,7

This is a list of all components installed at the moment. I've taken the example of MSN Messenger - the program entry called 'msmsgs', third-last line. You can see the word 'hide' highlighted - this is the string which tells Windows not to display the component in the Add/Remove Programs list. Fix this up by simply deleting the word 'hide' like so:

msmsgs=msgrocm.dll,OcEntry,msmsgs.inf,hide,7
To this:
msmsgs=msgrocm.dll,OcEntry,msmsgs.inf,,7

Now, after restarting, you should be able to see MSN Messenger in the Add/Remove Programs list. If
you want to be able to quickly view and remove all components, simply open the sysoc.inf file and do
a global find and replace for the word ",hide" and replace it with a single comma ",".

Speed up Internet Explorer 6 Favorites

For some reason, the Favorites menu in IE 6 seems to slow down dramatically sometimes--I've noticed this happens when you install Tweak UI 1.33, for example, and when you use the preview tip to speed up the Start menu. But here's a fix for the problem that does work, though it's unclear why:
Just open a command line window (Start button -> Run -> cmd) and type sfc, then hit ENTER. This command line runs the System File Checker, which performs a number of services, all of which are completely unrelated to IE 6. But there you go: It works.

Speeding Up Share Viewing:

This is a great tweak. Before I found it, I was always smashing my head against the table waiting to
view shares on other computers. Basically, when you connect to another computer with Windows XP, it
checks for any Scheduled tasks on that computer - a fairly useless task, but one that can add up to
30 seconds of waiting on the other end - not good! Fortunately, it's fairly easy to disable this
process. First, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/Current
Version/Explorer/RemoteComputer/NameSpace in the Registry. Below that, there should be a key called
{D6277990-4C6A-11CF-8D87-00AA0060F5BF}. Just delete this, and after a restart, Windows will no longer check for scheduled tasks - mucho performance improvement!

Create a Shortcut to Lock Your Computer

Leaving your computer in a hurry but you don’t want to log off? You can double-click a shortcut on
your desktop to quickly lock the keyboard and display without using CTRL+ALT+DEL or a screen saver.
To create a shortcut on your desktop to lock your computer:
Right-click the desktop. Point to New, and then click Shortcut.
The Create Shortcut Wizard opens. In the text box, type the following:
rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation
Click Next. Enter a name for the shortcut. You can call it
"Lock Workstation" or choose any name you like.
Click Finish. You can also change the shortcut's icon (my personal favorite is the padlock icon in shell32.dll).
To change the icon: Right click the shortcut and then select Properties.
Click the Shortcut tab, and then click the Change Icon button.
In the Look for icons in this file text box, type: Shell32.dll. Click OK. Select one of the icons
from the list and then click OK You could also give it a shortcut keystroke such CTRL+ALT+L.

This would save you only one keystroke from the normal command, but it could be more convenient.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8520327716057654174.post-21038477283694025232008-02-21T20:32:00.004+05:302008-03-28T13:33:44.934+05:30Good cinemas in and around Delhi
It is strange but true that it is difficult to find the websites for the good cinemas which are to expats liking in one place. It was
built in 1931. Connaught place happens to be the commercial hub of Delhi. It
depicts the style of British architecture which was very planned and well
structured. The glamour is still there and people love coming to CP for shopping
and entertainment.

Markets and shops in Connaught place are structured in the form of rings
comprising of inner and outer circle. Connaught place has been renamed as Rajiv
Chowk. The British rule at that time thought that the circular structure of the
market would be beneficial for both the shopkeepers and the shoppers. Connaught
Place has been modeled after the Royal Crescent in Bath, England. Connaught
place is easily recognized in the map of Delhi which is again given in this
site (category Map) because it stands out like a circle with roads
plying from many points on the circumference of the circular structure.

Connaught Place has always been the most sought after destination for both
tourist as well as the resident population. You would find everything here,
right from a grocery store to a car showroom. Connaught place has a
PVR Cineplex which matches the best in the
city. These shops are very popular
among foreigners who love buying Indian jewelry,
handicrafts and other antique items. Having pointed out the specialty
of these shops, it is imperative to mention the precaution one should take while
buying anything from these shops. You
can say that the place fulfills every shopping need. The market is ideally
suited for shopping in summer and also in winters because people are saved from
sprawling heat and cold respectively. It is famous for electronic goods,
fashionable clothes, perfumes, leather goods, photography equipments, etc. The
underground market has cafes and small eateries where you can enjoy some good
snacks while you shop. The garden above the market is an ideal place to meet and
date your friends. Spending some time in the garden really makes you feel good
as it has a beautiful view of Connaught Place. So, it is important that you bargain well and look for the authenticity
of the goods. Palika Bazaar is famous for electronic goods and people visit the
market for buying CDs of new movie releases and songs. The market is a big
station for pirated CDs of Indian movies. Police have often raided the place for
selling these pirated movie CDs and some porn stuffs that are one of the prime
features of the market. Most of these goods are pirated and smuggled from other
countries. So, one should be careful while shopping here in Palika Bazaar.

Parking in Connaught Place
Parking at Connaught Place is a big problem with so many vehicles lined up
for parking space. However, there is an underground parking in place but with
the increasing number of vehicles in the city, it has become very difficult for
the authorities to manage the traffic. With the new plan of NDMC, things are
expected to get better and also the running of Delhi Metro to Connaught Place
has lessened the traffic to a great extent. Parking here is very expensive which
means you will have to spend a few bucks to park your vehicles. Palika parking
is a good option at present which is under plans of renovation which would have
multi-level parking space. At the moment it is the only place where you can have
your vehicles parked with a few other empty spots in and around CP.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8520327716057654174.post-4623479116555657822008-01-25T14:58:00.000+05:302008-01-25T15:11:21.437+05:30Click to See Full Size ImageUnknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8520327716057654174.post-87261833546513523322008-01-22T17:43:00.000+05:302008-01-25T15:43:41.112+05:30
Eating Out in Delhi

From the by lanes of the walled city to the swanky hotels and restaurants, Delhi
has the taste of all. Ice creams galore, plus pizzas, burgers and
fries to take away or eat in (standing). Long lunchtime queues; buy a meal
ticket before you reach the counter.

Don't Pass Me By , 79 Scindia House. Friendly, inexpensive and tasty veg and
non-veg Chinese restaurant just off Janpath, popular with travellers staying
nearby. Go early for full-on breakfasts. They also run a reliable travel
service.

El Arab , Sansad Marg. Great place for Middle-Eastern dishes on the corner of
Sansad Marg and the outer ring of Connaught Place, with prices ranging from
medium to high. Tasty hummus, baba ghanoush and Lebanese salads in an
excellent-value daily lunchtime buffet.

Gaylord, near Connaught place, Originally Delhi's top nightclub, now limited to
serving standard but expensive Indian dishes in plush surroundings lit by
glittering chandeliers.

Host , F-Block. Air-con relief from the Indian heat, and a good place to sit
with a beer, silver-service tea, or strong filter coffee. The standard
multi-cuisine, however, is unexciting and meals are overpriced.

Kovil , 2 E-Block, Connaught Place. Fresh, no-smoking restaurant and takeaway
serving exclusively south Indian veg dishes, with great dosas , and delicious
full thalis (around Rs150) at lunch-time.

Kwality , Regal Building, Sansad Marg. High standards of service and hygiene,
with good but unspectacular international cuisine; renowned for its channa
batura , a particular speciality of Delhi.

National , opposite L-Block, Connaught Place. The best of a bunch of inexpensive
sit-down restaurants, with great fiery curries, and an endless supply of
chapatis.

Nirula's , 135 L-Block, Connaught Place. Choose from the downstairs snack bar
(serving packed lunches), the Chinese or tasty multi-cuisine rooms upstairs, or
sample some of the fifty flavours of delicious ice cream in the parlour. A
second branch on N-Block, near the Wimpy , is a popular snack bar with smooth
ice-cream shakes.

Parikrama , Kasturba Gandhi Marg. Novel and expensive Indian and Chinese cuisine
in a revolving restaurant worth a visit.

Pizza Express , D-10 Connaught Place. An ambience and menu identical with their
restaurants abroad; so are the prices, which makes it expensive for Delhi,
especially their drinks menu.

Rodeo , 12 A-Block, Connaught Place. New-Mexican restaurant with Wild West
waiters, crooning karaoke, swinging saddle bar stools, pitchers of beer,
cocktails, excellent fajitas and moderate prices.

Sona Rupa , 46 Janpath. Good Indian and Chinese food, extremely popular with
families. No-nonsense prices, and dramatic dosa -flinging in the open-fronted
kitchen downstairs. Beer and north Indian food upstairs; buy a food ticket at
the till and present it to the cooks.

Spice Route , Hotel Imperial , Janpath. The beautifully decorated and expensive
restaurant specializes in spicy Thai and Kerala cuisine and is widely considered
to be one of the best restaurants in Asia.

Standard , 44 Regal Buildings, Connaught Place. Close to the Regal Cinema, with
two food halls, one for the best-value south Indian thalis in town, and the
other for north Indian and tandoori specials and chilled beer on tap.

Surang , Alka Hotel , 16-90 P-Block, Connaught Place. A minor treat - delicious
tandoori and Mughlai specialities. Vegetarians should try the Vega restaurant
(also in the Alka Hotel ), where the purest Indian veg dishes are served with
ginger kulcha .

United Coffee House , 15 E-Block, Connaught Place. Together with the Host , this
is a long-standing favourite, and does great coffee and cold beer. The food is
very good and portions are ample, but as a whole it's overpriced.

The Dhaba , Claridges Hotel , 12 Aurangzeb Rd. Designed to look like a trucker's
café, with a reconstructed truck to add atmosphere - for those who want really
good dhaba cooking without the grime of a roadside truck stop.

Fujiya , Malcha Marg Market, Chanakyapuri. A pilgrimage place for homesick
Chinese tourists and well worth the queues. Superb, piping-hot Chinese dishes
and fast service.

Karim's , Nizamuddin. Unmissable Mughlai cooking, although not as good as its
Old Delhi counterpart. The sumptuous food is very rich, offering much-renowned
specialities, plus kebabs, korma and rumali roti (super-thin bread).

Moti Mahal , Netaji Shubash Marg, Darya Ganj. On the noisy main road south of
Jami Masjid, this once smart restaurant, established in 1947, may have seen
better days but is still renowned as the home of tandoori chicken.

Natraj Bhalla Corner , Chandni Chowk. Right next to the Central Bank, midway
along Chandni Chowk. Cosy first-floor snack bar with a few window seats and a
limited menu comprising Indian, Western and Chinese options.

Paratha Wali Gali , Chandni Chowk. Opposite the Central Bank, down an alley that
leads behind Kanwarji Raj Kumar Sweet Shop. Follow the smell of rich ghee (the
lane's hallmark from more than a century dedicated to paratha -making) to any of
the several tiny rooms squeezed behind counters displaying pure veg food. Here
you choose a paratha to go with standard veg dishes, filled with anything from
paneer and gobi to mutter and mooli, all cooked to order, a culinary treat that
will set you back around Rs30.

Soni Bhojnalaya , Nai Sarak. First-floor restaurant at the top of a yellow
staircase opposite Bina Musical Stores, 30m off Chandni Chowk. Great thalis in
typically Indian unfussy surroundings.
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8520327716057654174.post-81275902217978618032008-01-22T12:23:00.000+05:302008-01-25T15:40:06.222+05:30
BARS & PUBS IN DELHI

The city has good world class restaurants and bars where you can have liquors,
drinks and cocktails of different varieties. IRMA is founded with the belief, borne out by Dr.Kurien’s work in the dairy co-operatives which revolutionised the dairy industry in the country, that the key for effective rural development is professional management. Professionalising the management of rural organisations calls for matching the specific but unmet needs of the sector with the formal techniques and skills of management professionals. Linking the two are the ‘rural managers’ prepared by IRMA through its two-years diploma (PRM) in rural management.
Born out of a maverick’s dream, IRMA has become a frontrunner in professionalising the development of India’s rural sector. Over the years it has provided management training, support and research facilities to students committed to rural development and in this process it has brought within its ambit several co-operatives, non-government organisations, government development agencies, international development organisations and funding agencies.

Location in India :-Institute of Rural Management Post Box No. 60, Anand 388001.
